Since the news broke that Mauro Zonzini had plead guilty to corruption charges and signed a cooperation agreement and that John Gallagher had been arrested and indicted on corruption charges, the floodgates have started to open.

To the person or persons who thought it would be a good idea to melt a hole in the back rear tire of my car and drive a wood stake into the hole, you did not succeed in killing or even injurying me. You did almost kill my wife and daughter. Hope you are proud. I have asked my attorney to refer the matter to the Justice Department and FBI.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Residents in the West End of New Rochelle are furious after learning that two registered Sex Offenders moved into their neighborhood. The two men reside at 7 6th Street which is two blocks from Columbus Elementary School.

Trevor Bridle, 40, works at 51 Highland Avenue in New Rochelle. His last conviction, in 1997, was Attempted Sexual Abuse-1st Degree, a class E Felony. The victim was a 10 year old girl.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- A New Rochelle family is blaming Con Edison for a dangerous fire incident at their home located at 373 Forest Avenue.

 

Due to transformer issues in the vicinity, likely a remnant of an auto collision into a utility on Pinebrook Boulevard several years ago, the two houses on the Southeast corner of Pinebrook Boulevard and Forest Avenue do not have a typical electrical hookup.

Faces Reckless Endangerment, DWI and narcotics possession charges

VALHALLA, NY -- A Long Island man was charged this morning with a felony and two misdemeanors after he drove the wrong way on three Westchester parkways.

Jason Eisenfeld, 34, of Old Bethpage, N.Y., was charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, a felony, and Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, misdemeanors. A small amount of cocaine was found in his car after his arrest.

Harry Kyreakedes (DOB 12/01/89) was arraigned on an indictment today before Judge Susan Cacace and charged with:

Pelham Woman Charged in Wrong-Way Crash On The Hutch

VALHALLA, NY — A Pelham woman was formally charged on Wednesday night with a felony and two misdemeanors in connection to the wrong-way crash that occurred the previous night on the Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle.

Joanna Logan, 42, of Wolfs Lane was taken into custody by Westchester County Police following her release from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx last night. She was charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, a felony, and Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving, misdemeanors.

Wrong Way Driver Injures Four on Hutch Parkway in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Four people were injured last night, two of them seriously, following a head-on collision involving a woman driving North on the Southbound Hutchison River Parkway in New Rochelle, according to Westchester County Police.

The incident occurred between the Mill Road and Weaver Street shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday. The roadway was closed for hours, re-opening at 6 a.m.

Ashley Ward who lives nearby reported hearing a loud bang that "sounded like thunder".
