The Jay Heritage Center presents “Manhattan Seascapes—1970s” by Robert Gambee at its 1907 Carriage House, 210 Boston Post Road, Rye, New York. A portion of the proceeds from photographs purchased at the reception will benefit The Rye Arts Center or other locally designated charities of the buyer's choice including Jay Heritage Center, The Rye Historical Society, ArtsWestchester, and Spread Wings Foundation. NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Carole Troum, the Executive Director of HOPE Community Services, will be the featured guest at the League of Women Voters’ Coffee and Conversation on Friday, January 18th, from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, in the Meeting Room of the New Rochelle Public Library. Ms. Troum will give an overview of wide range of services provided by HOPE and will discuss the seasonal challenges faced by our community’s most vulnerable population. Her informal presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer session. The free program is open to all and light refreshments will be served.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The American Red Cross has issued a “blood emergency” alert. Donors are urgently needed for the  January 17th Blood Drive at the New Rochelle Public Library. The American Red Cross had a lower than expected collection of blood during the recent holidays.
