NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- A 7.5-ton sculpture by internationally known artist R.M. Fischer was dedicated Saturday in its new home atop the hill in Ruby Dee Park at Library Green in New Rochelle. The sculpture previously enriched the Los Angeles headquarters of Sony Studios.

NEW YORK, NY -- On Sunday 7/16/17, members of the Songcatcher Concert Choir - children, teens and adults - performed the National Anthem for the opening of the New York Liberty game at Madison Square Garden. The group has been preparing for this once in a lifetime event for the past month and all were thrilled to represent Songcatchers in one of the world’s largest arenas in the world. Members of the choir come from New Rochelle and surrounding towns and perform throughout the year at local community events and in collaboration with the New Rochelle Opera, Hugh A.

PELHAM, NY -- On Tuesday, August 15th at 7:30 p.m. The Picture House Regional Film Center (TPH) will host an advance screening of Marjorie Prime (Lois Smith, Jon Hamm, Geena Davis, Tim Robbins) followed by a discussion with lead actress Lois Smith led by TPH’s critic-in-residence Marshall Fine. Marjorie Prime premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival where it won the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film prize.
