UPDATE: We will be discussing this article on Blog Talk Radio at 4 pm ET Today.

The growth in budgeted spending on administrative compensation by the New Rochelle Board of Education has grown by 81% since the 2002-03 school budget nearly three times the rate of inflation over the past 10 years, based on an analysis of school budget records by Talk of the Sound.

Between May 2002 and May 2012, total U.S. inflation as measured by CPI was 28%.

Every year the administration cries poor with the school boards serving as the Superintendent's Greek Chorus and yet administrative salaries have grown at a staggering rate with new positions regularly being added at the central office and in the school buildings. Parental Alienation - Children Turned Against Themselves - For Many Unhappy Fathers Day

June 17, 2012 - 01:21

Readers because today is Fathers Day and this article is sad, true and relevant -you may want to read it tomorrow or sometime soon. I and other advocates and countless other parents and grandparents for Parental Alienation Awareness (referred to hereafter as PA) know the devastating results PA has on children and families. We are compelled and dedicated to this cause and want the public to become informed and have PA awareness.

Our hope is that our local and greater communities,( you ) will recognize PA as a social problem that hurts children, families and society. Public awareness is paramount as well as necessary changes in the politically system including - the current family and department of social services law - domestic relations law - the family courts and the judges role, child unprotective services and the further inequitable roles of the bureaucracy.

The current system facilitates PA and is structured to be detrimental to family dynamics, problems and conflicts. The best interest of the child is absent. Our family courts have failed us and continue to do so.

A Few Thoughts on Commerce Clause, Individual Mandate and Prof. Barnett

June 16, 2012 - 17:30

I read an article last night on the Reason Magazine website and thought it presented an interesting perspective to ponder as we await the upcoming Supreme Court decision on Obamacare. Here is the article:

Briefly, I believe the individual mandate section should be deemed unconstitutional in violation of the Commerce Clause of the Constitution. I also believe that a federal law forcing people to enter into a contract without consent raises a very troubling and dangerous legal precedent.
