Purse Snatcher Tackled By Good Samaritans In New Rochelle

A woman had her purse snatched by a male black on Union Avenue around 430pm Sunday afternoon. The suspect did not get far after being tackled by some people in the area. The suspect let the purse go and then proceeded to run down Union Avenue towards First Street One of the good samaritans followed the suspect to a building on the corner of First Street and Jones. Police surrounded the building and waited for a video from a near by store to identify the suspect.
