New Rochelle Police were looking for a suspect wanted in a Assault that occurred late Sunday evening in the west end of the city. Police were given information that the suspect lived in the area of Horton avenue.A officer on patrol spotted the suspect in a car on Lincoln Avenue around 11:30pm and started to follow the vehicle.
A white Ford Mustang hit two parked cars and then flipped over onto its Roof around 10pm Friday night. The driver of the Mustang was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center with minor injuries.Woodland Avenue was closed from Liberty to Elm Street while a tow truck took away the cars damaged in the accident.
New Rochelle is Playing White Plains under the lights at New Rochelle high school football field. White Plains scored first but New Ro came back quick with a touchdown but missed the extra point7-6 and with 1:25 left till the half New Rochelle scored again and made the two point conversion to go ahead 14-7 with 1:21 left till the half.

Everyone remembers the tax abatements for the Home Depot that were given to a developer back in the 90’s. Much to my surprise, I was at the New Rochelle School Board Meeting the other night and what was on the agenda, a resolution for approval of another certiorari reduction/payback in taxes.
I just got an intro to the concept of "farm bills". I had heard about them, but didn't know really what that was, just knew that billions of dollars are going there.
Congress is holding on to Farm bills even though they are expensive, and create a mountain of problems, and guess who is ending up holding the bag? We...the tax payer.

Two People were injured early Wednesday morning when there cars crashed into each other sending one of the cars into a pole at the corner of Church Street and Clinton Place. It's unclear who was at fault.
The injured were taken to Sound Shore Medical Center.
