SCARSDALE – New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-88) is proud to announce that her anti-human trafficking bill (A8071/S5839) was signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo on Friday. The bill is one part of the Trafficking Victims Protection and Justice Act (TVPJA), which Paulin authored.
Sonewhere, Pacific Ocean -- The journey that began late last month for one of the world’s largest floating cranes continues as it prepares to pass through the Panama Canal this weekend.
The crane, known as the Left Coast Lifter, is expected to begin its passage through the Panama Canal as soon as Saturday, Jan. 11, and updated information on its journey will be available at NewNYBridge.com. It departed from Oakland, California, on Dec. 22, escorted by tug boats, and is expected to arrive in New York at the end of the January.

New Rochelle City Finance Commissioner Howard Ratner provided the following information describing the available property tax exemptions for veterans in New Rochelle and a table comparing the City's policy with municipalities throughout Westchester County as well as the County government itself:
