NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The popular song-and-dance group, New York Cabaret Unlimited, will showcase music of Cole Porter in a fully staged, narrated program they have titled, “Cookin’ With Cole.” The program will take place on Sunday, April 6 at 2:00 pm, in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library, and will include such Cole favorites as Let's Do It, Begin the Beguine, My Heart Belongs to Daddy, So In Love, and more.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The New Rochelle Council on the Arts’ Sound Shore Shakespeare Festival returns in April to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the birth of the Bard of Avon. The Sound Shore Shakespeare Festival will run from April 3rd to 30th, with a variety of Shakespeare-themed events planned, including films, concerts, lectures and performances. Among the treats in store: three different versions of “The Taming of the Shrew” will be shown in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library.
