Stephanie Tomei spoke on behalf of the PTA Council at Tuesday's board meeting. She made public that a "Statement of Concern" was submitted to the Board on June 12th. The Statement was signed by all members of the PTA Council. Tomei said the board did not reply to the letter.
Tomei stressed that the Statement of Concern was not intended to criticize the board.

NEW YORK –- Con Edison’s Green Team is paying customers to use less electricity to stay cool this summer.
The company will pay $25 to residential customers who purchase a new ENERGY STAR® room air conditioner between now and Aug. 29. By replacing an older room air conditioner with a new, more energy-efficient unit, a customer can reduce electricity usage by about 15 percent.
