NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Two recent New Rochelle school board candidates have violated Regulations of the New York State Education Commissioner in a voter fraud Appeal to the Commissioner filed by a former school board candidate.

New Rochelle Police Chase Down Car Break In Suspect

New Rochelle police received a call from a alert homeowner on Parkridge avenue about a person breaking into a white car on Parkridge ave early Thursday morning. The alert home owner kept a close eye on the suspect and gave New Rochelle police a detailed description of the suspect. New Rochelle police sealed off the area and began searching the area and a chase began with the suspect hiding behind cars and then running through backyards on Parkridge Avenue and Mt.Tom Road. New Rochelle officers then caught the suspect in the rear yard of Nine Mount Tom Road.

New Rochelle Schools Fail to Make the Grade as NYSED Reward Schools

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- New York State Commissioner John B. King, Jr. has identified 354 high achieving and high progress schools as Reward Schools. Thirty eight schools in Westchester County were named "Rewards Schools" for 2014 by the New York State Education Department. No New Rochelle schools were on the list.

I don't know how professional this one is going to be folks, because I am really really fed-up and angry. I am not going to beat around the bush any more. The shelter is corrupt, incompetent and incapable if running a day program or any other program for that matter, but Hope is not doing it's job either and is proving itself to not be much better. Today it's director Carol Troum attempted to interfere with a criminal investigation.

College Of New Rochelle Joins Eastern College Athletic Conference

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The College of New Rochelle (CNR) has been accepted for full membership into the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), it was announced Monday following a vote by the ECAC Board of Directors. CNR will be eligible for ECAC Championships, awards, officiating services and other benefits effective immediately.
