City School District of New Rochelle Announces "Retirement" of Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administration

The City School District of New Rochelle has retroactively issued a press statement, dated July 24, 2014, to confirm a previous report that John Quinn was fired by the New Rochelle Board of Education.
 Quinn's contract expired on June 30, 2014.
 As is standard practice, the District is seeking to portray Quinn's first as a "retirement".
