In early November he was named to the Capital One Academic All-District II Football Team for the second consecutive year. The week of Thanksgiving, he was named the Centennial Conference's Defensive Player of the Year.

Christopher J. Maher, 57, of New Rochelle, New York, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 28, 2014. He was born on January 21, 1957 and attended Blessed Sacrament School, Fordham Preparatory School and Ohio University. Chris worked for many years in the moving business and in the boating industry and had a deep love for the sea. He helped with a number of local organizations including The Salvation Army, and at Ground Zero during post 9/11 efforts.
