Astorino invites residents to celebrate and enjoy Jewish music traditions during the 41st Annual Jewish Music and Arts Festival of Westchester, Sunday, August 16, from noon to 6 p.m., at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. The festival wraps up Westchester County’s series of cultural heritage celebrations for 2015.

WHITE PLAINS, NY --Seniors looking to stretch their food budgets this summer and fall may be entitled to discount Farmers Market Coupons. To be eligible, individuals must be 60 years of age or older AND have a monthly income at or below $1,815/single, $2,456/couple, $3,098/three-person household OR be 60 and older and currently receiving or eligible to receive SSI,  Public Assistance or Section 8 housing subsidy.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY --James Coviello, of New Rochelle, NY died on July 17, 2015. He was 72. James was born on November 29,1942 to James and Josephine Gerardi Coviello. He attended local schools and graduated from Fordham College. He proudly served in the Army Reserve. James married Beverly Rosch on April 6, 1979 at St. Joseph Church. James is survived by wife Beverly, daughters Tracy and Lindsey, brothers Thomas and Robert, three grandchildren Anna, Robert, and Madison. James was employed by Coca Cola as a salesman and owned and operated Jimbo's Restaurant and Bar.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY --Steven John Chirogianis, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on July 19, 2015. He was 81.

Steve was born on May 2, 1934 in Salonika, Greece to the late John and Zoe Chirogianis. Steve was an architect who owned his own business for over 50 years. He was a member of Wykagyl Country Club.

Steve is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carole Ann; his son Jason Chirogianis (Adina) and his daughter Kristina Dunn (Edward) and his six grandchildren Grady, Lila, Ellie, Chloe, Michael and Charlie. His family meant the world to him.
