NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Raymond Lerner passed away on December 7th, 2015 at United Hebrew, New Rochelle, NY at the age of 85 years old from natural causes. He was born in Bronx, NY on May 17, 1930 to Max and Sonia Lerner and was raised in White Plains, NY. He studied business at Long Island University. A lifelong Westchester resident, Raymond owned and operated Fromberry's clothing store for many years and continued business in New Rochelle, NY thereafter.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- John D. Murray, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on December 8, 2015. He was 82.

Mr. Murray was born on March 18, 1933 in New Rochelle to the late John R. and Margaret (Doyle) Murray. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion in Pelham and of the Echo Bay Yacht Club for over thirty years. He worked as an Account Executive at Equitable Life for many years.
