NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The Monroe College women's basketball team fell to Gateway Community College, 73-56, in a game played in New Rochelle on Sunday.  Fatoumata Coulibaly had a career day as she earned her first-ever double-double.  Gabrielle Jubinville had her second-straight one as well.

Monroe never led in the game and even fell down by ten points in the first quarter.  A bucket from Jubinville and a three-pointer and layup from Camilla Kilinc made the score 17-14 at the end of the first quarter.  Gatway pulled away in the second quarter and went on to win, 73-56.
