The free program, which is open to all, will include a brief presentation by Mr. Strome, followed by a question and answer session. The program runs from 9:30 am – 11:00 am.

New York State Council on the Arts Increases Funding for ArtsWestchester’s Arts Alive Grant Program by 20 Percent

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- ArtsWestchester has announced a 20 percent increase in funding from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Grants Program for the allocation of grants totaling $55,000 to local arts organizations and artists. 

ArtsWestchester distributes these funds through its competitive Arts Alive grants, supporting community-based cultural activities throughout the county, as well as the creation of new work by Westchester artists.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The Board of Trustees of the New Rochelle Public Library will hold a special Board Meeting on Thursday, February 25, at 7:30 pm, in the Ossie Davis Theater. 

It is anticipated that the Board will convene an executive session at this public meeting for the purpose of discussing real estate matters, publicity of which would affect the price thereof. The Board will not take any public action after the executive session.
