NEW YORK, NY -- To help customers stay healthy this flu season, vaccinations are now available at all Stop & Shop in-store pharmacies. Flu vaccinations are administered by Stop & Shop’s in-store pharmacists, with no appointment needed.

“It’s important for everyone to protect themselves against the flu.  We make it easy with no appointment ever needed,” said Brian Pavur, R.Ph, Director of Pharmacy Operations for Stop & Shop.

NEW YORK, NY -- Assemblyman Steve Otis (D-Rye) is pleased to announce that his bill, A103351A, to enhance the accountability and openness of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), was signed into law by the Governor on August 19th. The new law allows owners and tenants of real property located within a BID to receive written notice of the timing and purpose of management association meetings, as well as copies of the minutes of those meetings upon request.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever to be prepared for disasters.  This training program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible.  The training course will provide an introduction to responding to a natural or man-made disaster.  Participants will be advised on how to properly prepare for any disaster including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on emergency supplies.
