NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The City of New Rochelle and Iona College announced today a comprehensive agreement that, when fully executed, will allow for the inward expansion of two campus buildings while addressing neighborhood concerns regarding the campus perimeter, and resolving recent legal disputes.
Collaborative work between the New Rochelle City Council, City staff, and Iona College has created a framework to advance the review of additions to Hagan and Spellman Halls, currently being reviewed before the Planning Board. The agreement includes:

Gardner’s presentation was on statistical analysis in AP and honors biology class investigations. Glenn’s was on increasing data literacy with local databases on ecological matters such as the Hudson River Environmental Conditions Observing System.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Seventeen residents addressed the New Rochelle Task Force on Reducing Violence in the Lives of Children and Youth on Saturday, April 14, to offer suggestions and other input aimed at keeping the community and City School District of New Rochelle schools safe.
They spoke at a public meeting of the Task Force in New Rochelle City Hall. More than 70 residents attended, including many of the Task Force members.
