NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The Ajkun Ballet Theatre is back, presenting another ballet that offers students the opportunity to rehearse, train and even perform with professional dancers from around the world.
This time they're presenting Don Quixote.
The show is at the Whitney M. Young Jr. Auditorium in New Rochelle High School, 265 Clove Road, at 7 p.m. tonight (Friday, April 13) and 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 14.)
The students come from our City School District of New Rochelle schools, and from neighboring districts.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Come see art work by our students inspired by the world renowned pop-art of New Rochelle's own Charles Fazzino | Master of 3D PopArt this Thursday evening in the Museum of Arts & Culture!
Fazzino's work was on display in the museum, at New Rochelle High School, last fall. Now it's the students' turn.
Their works, influenced by the pop art master's whimsical style, are featured through May 9 in an exhibition presented by the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The Hudson duo of flutist Morgan Pappas and guitarist Daniel Keene will perform “Earthly Elements,” a rich concert of music to delight the senses, on Sunday, April 22, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the Ossie Davis Theater of the New Rochelle Public Library. The program will feature pieces that invoke water, wind and fire, including works by composers Toru Takemitsu, Robert Beaser, and Jose Manuel Lezcano, and selections such as Toward the Sea, Mountain Songs, and Sonatina Tropical. The concert, ideal for Earth Day, will be followed by a reception.
