Sunday Cinema at TPH features important and timely, yet less-recognized films—the type often reserved for the theater’s 14-seat Screening Room— each Sunday in the Main Hall at 8:00 p.m.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- City Manager Charles B. Strome III announced the appointment of Andrew Sandor to Chief of the New Rochelle Fire Department. Sandor assumed the position on September 1. Sandor served as Interim Fire Chief since Lou DiMeglio who retired on June 29, 2018 after 45 years of distinguished service.

Eastbound Span Opens This Weekend

NEW YORK, NY -- Operations to shift Westchester-bound traffic on the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge to the crossing’s new eastbound span will begin at approximately 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, weather permitting. Motorists traveling on the southbound/eastbound New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287) should plan for multiple lane closures and brief traffic stoppages so workers can reconfigure the landings and stripe the lanes at both ends of the new 3.1-mile span during the overnight operation. There will be no lane closures in the Rockland-bound direction.
