One man is dead and another seriously injured after a high speech chase which began in New Rochelle and ended near Co-Op City in the Bronx early Monday morning. The vehicle driven by a suspect collided with parked cars on Givan Avenue at the Palmer Avenue intersection. A passenger in the vehicle was killed.

New Rochelle Police engaged in a high speed pursuit early Monday morning of a Silver Nissan Maxima with New Jersey dealer tags after the people in the car were observed in the Honda Dealership lot.
The pursuit began on Palmer Avenue in New Rochelle and continued to I-95 southbound from Cedar Street from there they went south on I-95 to exit 15 got off the exit made a U-turn got back on I-95 southbound with New Rochelle Police in pursuit with speeds reaching 100 mph.
