"In conclusion, this Court declares that the respondents violated Educational Law by failing to reinstate petitioner to the position of Administrator of the SS/HS grant;accordingly, the Court directs respondents to reinstate petitioner to that position nunc pro tunc to November 1, 2010 with full back pay, seniority and all other benefits. Settle judgement on Notice by October 4, 2011."

As a result, the City School District of New Rochelle was ordered to reinstate an improperly excessed employee with full back pay of an annual salary of  over $110,000.

The Trinity PTA invites the community to come and talk to New Rochelle City Council members Al Tarantino, Lou Trangucci and Richard St. Paul.  Please join a discussion on issues of the state of the neighborhood/city and their impact on Trinity Elementary School. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 5 from 7pm to 9 pm at Trinity Elementary School. This meeting is a follow up to last year's meeting where the council member heard and discussed neighborhood and city concerns.

After communicating to the public the elimination of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources position as a cost saving measure, it appears that the City School District had concurrently placed an add to fill the eliminated position. The add can be found on the educational job posting website http://olasjobs.org/. It reads as follows:

On June 24th, 2011 The Journal News issued the following correction:

Robert Cox, who ran for a seat on the New Rochelle Board of Education, did not propose tasking an independent committee with presenting the district's annual budget to board members, as was stated in a May 13 article that ran on Page 15A. Instead, the committee would review the budget and present its analysis to the board.
