Milwaukee metal and hardcore masters Cause For Revelation are coming to WVOX this Friday at 8:10pm for some mayhem with Matt O'Shaughnessy only on 1460 am and wvox.com worldwide!

An unyielding ferocious assault of metal and hardcore fury, Cause For Revelation trek onward playing a vicious hardcore-fueled blend of American heavy metal. Constantly blurring the lines of heavy music, Cause For Revelation incorporate many styles from groove to thrash, uptempo to beatdown. All of these elements combined, have earned the band a reputation of being "straight forward", "technical", and "tight".

Cause For Revelation formed in Milwaukee, WI in 2003, with a focus on combining the elements of a death metal assault and a vicious hardcore attack. Featuring past and present members of several prominent midwest acts, the band's current line-up is as powerful and destructive as ever, featuring Austin Thomas (vocals), Kevin Forsythe (guitar), Ryan Baxter (bass), and Jim Garcia (drums).

Matt O'Shaughnessy will feature Dallas, Texas hard rockers - Feel Never Real - at 8:10pm this Friday on 1460 am and wvox.com worldwide. The band was formed in 2004 and is comprised of Tim Jones on vocals and guitar, Matthew Cass on bass, and shea Lange on drums and backup vocals.

2010 saw the re- release of the group's first full length album with the track "A Taste Of Truth" being the most requested song on active rock stations in the U.S.

Vocalist Jaime St. James of Black N Blue will be Matt O'Shaughnessy's live guest this Friday, June 10th at 8:10pm on 1460 am and wvox.com worldwide...talking about the band's latest cd, "Hell Yeah!" and what's in store for the 80's mega group in 2011.

Black N Blue formed in Portland, Oregon in 1981 and later moved to Los Angeles. The band had their debut album released in 1984 on Geffen Records. Known for such explosive songs as "Hold On To 18", "I'll Be There For You", and "Chains Around Heaven" among others, Black N Blue was at the forefront of the 80's and 90's thriving wave of hard rock groups. In honor of the “The Big 4″ concerts featuring Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth, WVOX’s "Metal Mayhem" will air it’s “Big 4 Live Block” saluting each band with tracks from each group every Friday between 6-7pm exclusively on 1460 am and wvox.com worldwide.

The monumental New York area date for “The Big 4″ is September 14th at Yankee Stadium.

Carnival Of Souls To Guest on WVOX'S Metal Mayhem This Friday!

New York metal band Carnival Of Souls will be Matt O'Shaughnessy live guests this Friday at 8:10pm on 1460 am and wvox.com worldwide.

Carnival of Souls was founded in the early 2000's by bassist, Gene Hunter and vocalist, Dee (Damien) Hunter. They then added guitarist Rob "the Machine" DeForge who they knew from other bands, and lead vocalist, Lee Cancela. Closing out the circuit on drums was Ron Hunter.

COS went big from the start and began playing packed out shows in local theaters and clubs on the Island and around the tri-state area.
Pretty soon Carnival of Souls found themselves touring and opening up for such well known bands as: Twisted Sister, Queensryche, Motorhead, and Anthrax. Vocalist, Dee recalls her fondest memory being at a special jam show in California. At this event many different members of bands came together just to rock out. Carnival of Souls opened the show, and some of the more famous musicians watched them and complimented on how much they enjoyed the show.
