New Rochelle High Schools Girls Basketball Game in Rye Cancelled Due to Bomb Threat

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The New Rochelle High Schools Girls Basketball game against Rye High School was cancelled tonight as the result of a bomb threat at Rye High School.

Rye High School was evacuated shortly before the 7 pm game.

The game was the Championship game of the Rye Rotary Tournament.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- New Rochelle City Councilman Jared Rice is promoting a "Justice for All March" Sunday at noon from City Hall, up North Avenue, down Huguenot Street, to Library Green. Attendees are encouraged to wear black.
