A person walked into the New Rochelle Hospital ER with stab wounds late Saturday evening. The victim told police that the incident took place in the area of Brook St. and Horton Ave.
Police are searching the area for clues the victim told police that his wallet and cell phone were taken. Police are also checking cameras in the area.

Minor Fire Breaks Out At 208 North Avenue New Rochelle


A minor fire broke out at on the 200 block of North Avenue late Friday evening injuring two people.New Rochelle fire department quickley got the fire under control upon arrival to the scene.
Police closed down North Avenue and Main Street to traffic briefly until firefighters brought the fire under control.

Sammy Melillo Passes


 Sammy Melillo, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on September 16, 2014. He was 74.
 Sammy was born on June 8, 1940 in New Rochelle, to the late Samuel and Evelyn (Lanzilotte) Melillo.
 Sammy was the owner of Sammy’s Bar in the West End of New Rochelle for many years.

Robert M. Sutton “Coach Sutton”, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle died on September 7, 2014. He was 73.

Honda Dealership In New Rochelle Has Multiple Cars Broken into.


New Rochelle Honda employees called the New Rochelle Police Department early Thursday morning to report that multiple cars were broken into and parts were taken from a lot off Main street where new cars are stored. New Rochelle Police are handing over the investigation to the property theft unit of the NRPD.
