The College of New Rochelle Volleyball Team Sweeps Tri-Match; Has Won 14 of last 15

The College of New Rochelle volleyball team swept both of its matches Saturday in a tri-match held at the Wellness Center. The Blue Angels defeated both College of St. Elizabeth and Mitchell College in straight sets and have now won 14 of their last 15 matches, with 13 coming in straight sets.

In the other game of the tri-match, Mitchell (3-9) defeated St. Elizabeth (7-8), 3-0.

Food Bank for Westchester and Westchester Coalition for Hungry Announce Merger

WESTCHESTER, NY -- The Food Bank for Westchester and the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless announced yesterday that they have reached an agreement to merge. The merger has been approved by the boards of each organization and the agreement now goes to the State for approval which is expected later this year.
