The American Catholic Bishops in a call for civil disobedience are urging Catholics to defy the Obama HHS Mandate and are sending bulletin inserts nationwide which quote Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King wrote:
"I would agree with Saint Augustine that 'An unjust law is no law at all.' A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law."
One Catholic priest in New Rochelle has already said he supports the Bishops.

The U.S. Bishops have urged Catholics across America to participate in a 14-day campaign of prayer, study and public action dedicated to protecting our religious liberty.
The Fortnight for Freedom campaign starts this Thursday, June 21, the vigil of the Feasts of Sts. John Fisher and Thomas More. The campaign culminates on July 4, the day Americans celebrate our Independence.

Students did construction work at worksites selected by Habitat for Humanity and SAIL at Ferncliff Manor, worked at the food pantry at HOPE Community Services and cleared and prepared the New Rochelle Little League field in time for next week's Opening Day ceremonies.
Iona Preparatory School hosted the event with a prayer service and breakfast in the morning. Students from the schools were mixed into groups to work at each of the sites.

Yom Hashoah v'Hagvurah or Holocaust Remembrance Day is a day set aside by the Jewish people to commemorate and honor victims of the Holocaust.
Zisman, 82, was born 1931 to a prominent family. The Nazis invaded his country when he was just a young boy. He lost his parents and two of his siblings to the Nazis. He survived the atrocities of the concentration camps on his own.
Shortly after the war he had a dream where his parents told him his brother was looking for him. That day his older brother and only surviving sibling found him at a camp in Hungary. Zisman and his brother emigrated to the United States and started a successful business together which they ran for over 50 years. The two still talk every day.
