Astorino Commits Over 500K To Expand Bee-Line Bus Service

WESTCHESTER, NY -- County Executive Robert P. Astorino announced today that over $500,000 has been allocated to add additional service to the county’s Bee-Line bus system for 2014 and 2015.

BEE-LINE BUS SYSTEM SUMMER SERVICE CHANGES
EFFECTIVE MONDAY JUNE 16

On Monday, June 16, summer services changes will go into effect on the following Bee-Line bus routes:

Route 1 - There will be minor adjustments to the Sunday schedule.

Thruway Authority Refunds Tolls To Motorists Who Were U-Turned Due To July 23 Wrong-Way Driver Accident On Tappan Zee Bridge

ALBANY, NY -- Motorists who were U-turned on the Tappan Zee Bridge following the serious accident on July 23 that closed all northbound lanes for six hours have received thousands of dollars in refunds for bridge tolls that they paid that night, the New York State Thruway Authority announced today.

Nighttime Paving on Main Street in New Rochelle August 12-15

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Milling and paving operations have been scheduled for the downtown August 12-15. Streets include Main Street from Division Street to North Avenue, Memorial Highway from Main Street to the entrance of the Library Parking Lot, and Westchester Place. Due to the high volume of daytime traffic, work will be done at night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
