NEW ROCHELLE, NY --The $50 mm New Rochelle School Bond failed on December 15, 2015 after an organized opposition led by ReformFirst.org, led by Robert Cox and compromised of many members  from the East End of New Rochelle.

A particular focus of the effort to defeat the bond was the School Election District at Holy Name Church. The bond failed there by a whopping margin of 177-49.

On Wednesday April 13 at 7 p.m., Robert Cox will address the East Civic Association to explain why he is now supporting a $106 million bond, more than twice the size of the original.

Cox will bring with him the entire team leading the effort to finance and rebuild New Rochelle crumbling school infrastructure: Assistant Superintendent for Business & Administration Jeff White, architect Tom Ritzenthaler of CSArch, James Nytko of Capital Markets Advisors and Mike Orifici of Capital Projects Consulting.

"We want the toughest questions," said White.

If they want the toughest crowd, asking the toughest questions, the East End Civic Association is the place to go. Many community leaders have confirmed they plan to attend the meeting.

Beth Acocella, the meeting organizer, has scheduled meeting for Halligan Hall at Holy Name Church at 70 Petersville Road in New Rochelle, NY.
