Benjamin J. DeLeno, WWII Vet, USPS Letter Carrier

Benjamin J. DeLeno 89, of New Rochelle, N.Y. died on July 15,2013 at Sound Shore Medical Center. He was born on Feb.3,1924 to the late Gennaro and Amelia DeLeno in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Benjamin was a retired letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. He is survived by his two loving sons, Robert (Mary Jane) DeLeno and Steven DeLeno both of New Rochelle, N.Y. one cherished grandson, Robert DeLeno and also survived by his former wife, Angelina (Estatico) DeLeno of New Rochelle, N.Y. and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his four brothers, Frank, Nicholas, Joseph, John and his four sisters, Amelia Cogoni, Katherine Bruno, Filomina Januzzi and Lena Bianco. No visiting hours. Funeral Mass, Holy Family Church, New Rochelle, N.Y. on Friday, 10:30 AM.
