BELLEROSE, NY – In their first meeting since nearly upsetting the Lady Bears, the Blue Angels were unable to overcome dominant St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn pitching, dropping both ends of a non-conference twin bill at Padavan-Preller Field.

Rosa Angeles singled with one out in the third of the second game to tally CNR's only hit in the nightcap. St. Joe's pitching struck out 10 in a 13-0 win. Edwards pitched all four innings for the Blue Angels.
