A 20-year-old male is missing and presumed drowned after he was knocked into the water off Premium Point this afternoon as winds gusting up to 50 mph. Police responded to a report that the man was struck by the boom as the boat came about unexpectedly in high winds, striking the man and sending him into the water. Police and rescue teams scoured the area throughout the day. New Rochelle Harbor Police towed his boat to the New Rochelle Marina (above).

Two men were rescued off of Davids Island by the New Rochelle Harbor Police.

New Rochelle Fire Department Rescue 4 prepared to deploy from the Davenport Club in their newest rescue vehicle which includes a hydraulic lift for a rescue boat.

Scaffolding was blown down and remained suspended over an apartment building on Pelham Road.
