NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The College of New Rochelle recently hosted the first public session of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s newly formed Common Core Task Force. The Task Force is a diverse and highly qualified group of education officials, teachers, parents and state representatives from across New York that is charged with comprehensively reviewing and making recommendations to overhaul the current Common Core system and the way students are tested. The public session was held October 29 at Maura Hall.
