NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Dina Marie Sarracino a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, N.Y. passed on Saturday October 31, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer, she was 47 years old. Dina was born on September 4, 1968 in New Rochelle and was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Antoinette Schiavonie Vallelonga. Dina is survived by her devoted husband Eric and loving daughter CassidyRose, brother Frank (Carmen) Vallelonga, sister- in- laws Emily (Eric) Lore and Helen Pettersen and brother-in-laws Charles (Lupe) Sarracino and Carmine (Linda) Sarracino Jr.. Dina was also a very dear Aunt to several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Follow by a 9:30 a.m. Memorial Mass on Wednesday at the Holy Name of Jesus Church. Entombment to follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .
