Elizabeth Zabatta, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on December 18, 2012. She was 93.

Elizabeth was born on June 12, 1919 in New Rochelle to the late Antonio and Florence (Sirica) Caiazzo.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Anthony Zabatta Sr., who died October 6, 1991.

She is survived by her two sons Charles Anthony Zabatta Jr. and his wife Virginia and Henry Zabatta and his wife Susan; her six grandchildren: Nicole, Thomas, Chip, Jennifer, Matthew and Bryan; her 7 great grandchildren and her sister Josephine. She a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who her knew her and enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. She was a very generous person who had the ability to bring out the best in people.

Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 10:00am at St Joseph Church. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Hebrew Geriatric Center, New Rochelle.
