  1. May God bless you Jim O’Toole
The world has truly been diminished by the loss of a great one, Jim O’Toole.Jim has known me since I was born on Huguenot Street to the Healy family some 50 odd years ago. Jim was the consumate barkeep working at as far as I can remember the Ship Ahoy, Beau Brummels the 3 O’s and Spectators but I’m sure there were many more (the Green Derby?). He was old blood New Rochelle, along with the Quigleys, Scofields and Meenans. I visited Jim at Sound Shore in late August and he had his usual optimistic attitude. He was still worried about who was running the pools at Spectators. Jim, God bless you, and the odds are still 3 to 5 that you are in heaven by now. I’m positive that it is a sure bet, no matter who the refs are. Rest in peace.
