As seen in this photo there is hardly any beach area at glen island. The county charges you $4.00 to park $4.00 to enter the beach area. They have one lifeguard on duty while 5 others sit around talking or playing volleyball. They put green flags up 20 yards apart and they expect 100 to 150 people to swim in it while the other area is closed off to swimmers.What a joke I hope someone in county government reads this site and checks out these conditions at this park. We need more sand and a person to shake things up here.
