Since the Journal News claims to be so interested in giving people all the information, how about telling us how many subscription cancellations the gun map caused? I know I cancelled and have received 3 calls from the JN or call centers trying to get me to renew. I'm sure this has taken a toll on its subscriber numbers. Did the loss of subscriptions cause panic, did the parent company put pressure on the JN to remove the map? Not holding my breathe.

I think that the person responsible for the decision to publish that map should be charged as an accomplice for aiding and abetting in the burglaries of the houses of the gun owners.

I agree with the "anonymous". The journal's publisher of that map should have to be held accountable for their aiding criminals to pinpoint their next victims. Disclosing the personal information of law abiding permit holding residents and law officers publicly is and was deplorable. That's not responsible journalism and personally-I will never find ANY interest in that media outlet again. Done deal
