Jefferson School Alum With Prosthetic Leg Speaks on Resilience

Max Gomez, a Jefferson Elementary School alum who lost his lower right leg in a motorcycle accident earlier this year, will give a presentation today at the Jefferson School Auditorium,

Gomez, now a college freshman at Concordia College, will share how he found the courage to go on with his life - with help from a prosthetic leg.

He will share a video and the book that inspired the hit movie "A Dolphin's Tale" and leads a discussion about resilience. The cast of the movie includes New Rochelle resident Frances Sternhagen.
