Decoration of Graves at Beechwoods, Holy Sepulchre Cemeteries
Begins with a ceremony at the Beechwoods Cemetery Civil War memorial to observe the sesquicentennial anniversary of the war. Followed by flag replacement on graves of soldiers and veterans at Beechwoods and Holy Sepulchre Cemeteries.

Memorial Day Parade “We Remember”

Memorial Plaza-Hudson Park

Join us as “We Remember” on Monday, May 30. Event begins with at 10:30 a.m. with a ceremony at Memorial Plaza followed by a parade and procession to Hudson Park via Huguenot Street, North Avenue and Pelham Road for a waterfront ceremony honoring those lost at sea. Special salute to Vietnam Veterans. Featuring NRPD, NRFD, active duty Marines and Sailors from Fleet Week, NRHS and Trinity School bands, schools and civic groups, military from every branch and many special surprises!

Line the sidewalks and fall in behind the parade and join the procession to the park!
Waterfront Ceremony followed by a “Picnic in the Park” with $1 menu from AJ’s Burgers, Pronto Pizza and UVMPA Live music all afternoon at the Hudson Park Bandshell featuring the West Point Jazz Knights at 3 pm and USO Liberty Bells and New Rochelle’s own A to Z and Third Stone bands, with emcees Dennis Nardone and entertainer Joan Crowe.

Special attractions in the Park! See displays of equipment; crafts, games, and more! Weather permitting, helicopter landing at Hudson Park from 2-4 pm for public view.
