Mo Leaves New Rochelle Without Completing North Avenue Church

Written By: Robert Cox

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Mariano Riviera is in Tampa at the Yankees Spring Training camp. The North Avenue Church has yet to open. Last fall, I spoke with Mariano who said the plan was to open the new church before he went south with the Yankees. Looks like we will have to wait until the Yankees head north in April.

Riviera, asked about progress at the North Avenue Church told Talk of the Sound that working was proceeding rapidly.

“We hope to be ready to open in February,” said Rivera who expects to report for spring training with the Yankees by mid-February.

Mariano Rivera opts not to reveal his retirement decision yet as closer returns to Yankees for first time since tearing ACL

  1. Not paying attention, didn’t know Mo bailed on his restaurant…
no big deal, the steak was WAY overpriced. Alvin and Friends is moving into Mo’s old space, but he will be hurt by the Gestapo parking rules in New Rochelle.

So the sewer that is New Rochelle continues to scare away high quality merchants, while Bramson rules with a jack boot and insults veterans.

What is WRONG with you people?

    1. 80% of NYC restaurants close in the first 5 years
Mo’s opened during a recession and NYC has the advantage of millions in foot traffic. The restaurant business is a tough business, it has nothing to do with New Rochelle.

      1. How about the retail stores, Tom?
The sewer that is New Rochelle and the crooks that are the politicians in New Rochelle that created the sewer that is New Rochelle have anything to do with them?
