NEW ROCHELLE — A 21-year-old Long Island man waiting on line at Town Pizza was assaulted by two men for no apparent reason, police said Monday.

Police found the victim bleeding from the mouth in the rest room of the Anderson Street restaurant on Sunday, police Detective Capt. Joseph Schaller said.

He had lost a tooth and possibly suffered a broken jaw, he said. He was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center .

“He was minding his own business in line and he was sucker punched,” Schaller said.

A second man then walked up to him and punched him again, he said. The men then fled.

The Wantagh man told police he did not know why he was attacked
