NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Morton Siegel of New Rochelle passed away February 2, 2016. He was 83. Morton was born May 29, 1932 in the Bronx to the late Joseph and Gertrude Siegel. He completed his undergraduate studies at CUNY Baruch College and received his Master’s Degree from Columbia Business School. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged. He liked to say that he was “chairborne” during the Korean War as he was at a desk responsible for classified documents. Morton was the Associate Research Director and Training Supervisor for Value Line in Manhattan. He enjoyed collecting Books and Antiques, was an avid NY Yankee fan and loved Big Band and Jazz music.

Morton is survived by his children Laura (Kenneth) Puhala of Scarsdale, Susan (Paul) Franzese of Cary, NC and grandchildren Lauren, Katelyn, Michael and Matthew. He was also survived by his companion Lin Goudreu. Morton was predeceased by his wife Renee in 1995.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday February 7, 2016 at 11:00am at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla. Donations may be made in his Memory to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association .
