Jose Martinez, who began the year with a promotion to Assistant Principal at the Jefferson Elementary School, abruptly handed in a letter or resignation a week ago Friday, March 11th, walked out the school building and has not been heard from since, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. He is reportedly not returning phone calls and his location is unknown. Martinez, who has been Administrative Dean at the Isaac Young Middle School for three years, was appointed to fill the post of Assistant Principal at the Jefferson Elementary School, stepping into the position vacated by Ms. Kim Nieves who was promoted to principal.
There are unconfirmed reports that Martinez left after a parent made serious allegations about Martinez on Facebook .
