Advanced art classes, including Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses, are designed for upper level high school students interested in pursuing art with added intensity. Many of the talented students are preparing art portfolios as part of their college applications. This exhibition offers the public a chance to see the exciting works of these young artists as well as giving the artists the experience of a gallery exhibition. The opening reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
Featuring more than fifty works in a range of media, this exhibition captures the unique energy and vision of a new generation of artists. This will be their first exhibition for many participants, and the Pelham Art Center is delighted to offer a learning and career-building opportunity for these talented students.
