New Rochelle Fire Department and Police kept busy.

The New Rochelle Fire Department was busy early Friday a call came in at 1283 Weaver street about a person burned after a explosion of a underground tank that was being removed from the site.
Around the same time the fire department got a call from Con Edison to respond to 193 Webster avenue after a gas line was cut by a contractor at the building.New Rochelle Police had to close down Webster Avenue between Washington and Union Avenues while the fire department vented the building and Con Edison shut the gas line down.
A homeowner at 114 Stevension blvd. returned home to see a male running out there back door police were searching the area for a suspect.
