NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- All are invited to a fundraiser to support hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at Dudley's Parkview Restaurant, 94 Hudson Park Road, New Rochelle.

There is a suggested donation of $25 with a cash bar and light appetizers. All donations will go to Unidos Por Puerto Rico/United for Puerto Rico and Americares. Donations can be made in cash at the door or by check made payable to Americares (with "Puerto Rico" in the subject line; must include name and address to count as a tax deduction). Checks can also be mailed to Americares, 88 Hamilton Ave., Stamford, CT 06902. Make donations online to http://unidosporpuertorico.com/en/.

The event is a bipartisan effort of New Rochelle officials, led by County Legislator Jim Maisano, Mayor Noam Bramson and Westchester County Clerk Tim Idoni, a former New Rochelle mayor.
