Interesting change New Rochelle!

I mean absolutely no disrespect towards The League of Women Voter of New Rochelle and My Brother's Keeper. I also do not have any ill will towards Angela Derecas Taylor. The League of Women Voters is a great group and is a valuable part of the community, especially when it comes to these meetings and election information and the debates. They are a valuable source of information to the voters of New Rochelle. I attend these meeting at times and residents can learn a lot from these coffee and conversation events, more people should attend.

That said it is amazing how Angela Derecas Taylor, senior advisor for community relations to New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, originally scheduled, has relinquished her guest spot. The Mayor probably realized that at the meeting she would be asked why Mayor Bramson, a “Weak part time mayor would even need a senior advisor for community relations or even an office at City Hall for that matter.

Jared Rice and My Brother's Keeper could have been on the slate for the next meeting but it makes more sense to promote their agendas heading into what could be an interesting campaign season.

Ladies at The League of Women Voters and The Voters of New Rochelle, I can’t wait for the debates for The Mayor, District #5 and the District #6 contest with current Councilwoman Shari Rackman deemed not worthy of the Democratic Indorsement to represent her current District#6 City Council Seat for another term.I am very disappointed in The Mayor and the rest of the party for what they have done.

Good Luck to My Brother's Keeper and Councilwoman Rackman!

I assure you that if there had been a vote for the CD6 nomination, it would have been limited to the votes of the Democratic District Leaders representing the various Election Districts of CD6.

However, a nominating vote for Liz Fried, by the CD6 District Leaders did not occur at the Democratic nominating convention.

Each Council District's District Leaders are limited to voting for a nomination of a Council Candidate only of their own City Council District, but even that did not occur for the CD6 Councilperson nomination.

If the entire Dem Committee could have voted on the matter, Shari Rackman would have easily won the nomination.

Shari Rackman will Petition this summer, and be reelected in November 2015.
