Wild Wings Walkout: New Rochelle police responded to a report of theft of services at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at New Roc City at about midnight on September 15 in New Rochelle, NY.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Manager told police that three young males entered the restaurant and consumed $31.17 worth of food and beverages and then attempted to leave without paying the bill. Two of the suspects were placed under arrest and during a search hunting knife was found in a bag of one of the two suspects. The third suspect got away.

The three suspects are being treated as juvenile offenders. Mamaroneck police made contact the father of one of the suspects was taken home by his father. Mount Vernon police made contact with the other suspects mother was taken home by his mother. The suspect also identified the third suspect is cousin.

Stolen Stove Steams Super: New Rochelle police responded to a report of larceny at in the past on September 15 at about 11 a.m. at 1 The Boulevard in New Rochelle, NY.

The complaint, the building superintendent, stated that he noticed the stove and refrigerator for an apartment were missing. He stated that he believes that the most recent tenant was responsible for stealing the items.

Car Break-in on Forest Avenue: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on September 16 on Forest Avenue at about 7 p.m. in New Rochelle.

Complainant stated that his green SUV was parked from about 7:00 p.m. on September 16 until about 6:30 a.m. the following morning he discovered items missing from his vehicle. Among them were miscellaneous papers as well small amount of change and also a Garmin golf watch. Complaint could not recall if the vehicle was locked. There were no signs of forced entry.

Yonkers Police Foil Fraud: New Rochelle police responded to the report of larceny in the past at Bon Air Avenue and Webster Avenue on September 15 at about 7 p.m. in New Rochelle, NY.amount

Complainant stated that she received a call from a Yonkers police detective stating that an individual had attempted to deposit one of her checks at a bank in Yonkers and it appeared that the check was fraudulent. The detective stated that he believed the check and been washed and the amount had been altered. The check been made payable to “Alexis” in the amount of $3,542. Complainant told Yonkers police that the check had been issued to a different person in an amount of $210 and that she did not know anyone named “Alexis”.

Civic Stolen: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny of a motor vehicle at Remington Place on September 16 at about 7 a.m. in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that he last saw the vehicle on September 15 at about 7 p.m. when he parked it on Remington Place. Complaint discovered the vehicle missing the following morning. The vehicle is a tan 2000 Honda Civic four-door sedan. Complainant stated he did not know who would steal his vehicle bought stated he brought it to the Bronx the day before to get the tires changed.

Camry Copped: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on Sickles Avenue on September 15 at about 9 a.m.

Complainant stated that medication (35 mg of liquid methadone) obtained from the methadone clinic on sixth Avenue was told from the center console of the 2002 Toyota Camry four-door sedan.

Sidewalk Bike Rider Busted – For Drugs: New Rochelle police arrested Michael Clark, 32, of New Rochelle NY, for drug possession after he was pulled over by police on Heritage Lane for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk.

Clark was observed by police traveling south on Brook Street. He was pulled over and advised that he was in violation of New Rochelle City Code which prohibits a person over the age of 16 years old to ride a bicycle on a public sidewalk. Advised that he was going to be placed under arrest Clark stated that he had marijuana on him. Police found a plastic box in Clark’s rear pants pocket. Inside the plastic box were eight clear glassine bags with alleged marijuana and it. Clark was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.

Cleveland Street Check Fraud: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a check forgery on Cleveland Street at about 7:30 p.m. on September 16 in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that September 15 $864 was withdrawn from her bank account and a second check of $1,300 which did not clear was posted. Complainant stated that neither she nor her husband wrote those checks. She stated she was not familiar with the names which appeared on either check.

Thousands Stolen with Forged Instrument: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a past forged instrument resulting in a grand larceny on Barrien Road at about 9 a.m. on September 17 in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that when she was reviewing her bank account online when she discovered a withdrawal of $4,680.29 which was unauthorized. She stated that her bank gave her a name of the person who withdrew money from the account and the name the check was payable to. She stated that she had written a check with that number but for an amount of just $245.

Chevy Stolen: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny of a motor vehicle on the four hundred block of Webster Avenue on September 15 at about 10:00 p.m. in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that his vehicle, a 1986 gray Chevrolet Sport Van was parked on Webster Avenue and last seen on Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 p.m. and that the vehicle was discovered missing at about 6 a.m. on September 16.

Battery Thief Foiled: New Rochelle police arrested Ahmad Rashad, 65, of the Bronx, NY on a charge of petty larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor. Police were called at about 11:40 a.m. on September 17 to the Home Depot at 55 Weyman Avenue in New Rochelle.

The complainant, a Home Depot loss prevention officer, stated that he observed the suspect walk into the Home Depot, pick up items and place it inside a black bag inside a shopping cart. He then proceeded to walk out towards the exit door without paying for the items and was stopped outside the door by the complainant. Stolen items found concealed inside his bag were five Energizer AAA 26 battery pack and four Energizer AA 36 battery pack valued at $122. Police described Rashad is having burned over 60% of his body arms legs and back.

Perfume Purloined from Store: New Rochelle police arrested Omar Ricketts, 24, of the Bronx, New York, on a charge of petty larceny at about 5:30 p.m. on September 17 after he was caught stealing items from a store at 200 Petersville Road in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant, a loss prevention officer who works at the store, stated that he observed a Ricketts and two Female/Blacks enter the store. The Ricketts was carrying a black bag and while in the store began selling bottles of Cologne, perfume, a sportswear shirt, four pairs of jeans, and hiding them in the black bag he was carrying, walk past the point-of-sale and leave the store without paying. Ricketts was stopped by the loss prevention officer and the police were called. Ricketts is a Jamaican citizen no Social Security number.

Debit Card Thief Steals Two Dollars: New Rochelle police responded to a report of the past fraud at Winthrop Avenue at about 4 p.m. September 17 in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that on August 31st while she was in Connecticut, she received notification from her bank that her debit card number was used in Mount Vernon to purchase a two dollar item from a vending machine. Complaint stated that the transaction was unauthorized and she notified the bank reimbursed her money.

Four Dollars Stolen from Car: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle at about 1 p.m. on September 17 on Evergreen Avenue in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that someone had ransacked her vehicle and stole 16 quarters. Complainant stated that she lsat saw the vehicle intact at 6:30 p.m. on September 16. She became aware of what occurred to the car at 10:30 a.m. Complaint stated that she left the car unlocked.

Three Cars Robbed on Moran Place: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on at about 7 p.m. September 17 at 12 Moran Place in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that he parked his vehicle’s in his driveway on September 16 at approximately 5 p.m. and notice today at approximately 3 p.m. that someone had rummaged through his vehicle. He states that items in the glove box and center console were scattered on the front seats. He stated a small black change purse containing approximately $10 in quarters was taken from the car.

While police were investigating this incident they were approached by another complainant stated that her two vehicles were also rummaged through at about the same time. This complainant stated that her change purse with “Puerto Rico” printed on it containing approximately $10 in quarters and a man’s suit jacket were taken from one of her vehicles. She stated that two old iPhone model 4S, one white and one black, that had cracked screens and did not have service were taken from her other vehicle. She stated that both vehicles were left unlocked.

Foreign Students Busted at Stop & Shop: New Rochelle police arrested Marta Turmo-Crespo, 19 and Kathleen Feitoza, 19. Turmo-Crespo is from Spain, is not a US citizen, and does not have a Social Security number. Feitoza is from Brazil, is not a US citizen, and does not have a Social Security number. Each was charged with one count of Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Police responded to a report of a larceny at about 11 p.m. on September 17 at the Stop & Shop at 28 Harrison Street in New Rochelle, NY. The complaint, a Stop & Shop loss prevention employee, told police he observed two females now known as Turmo-Crespo and Feitoza select various merchandise and place some of it in a black backpack and others underneath the shopping cart they were pushing. Both the females proceeded past all the points of sale exiting the store through the bakeshop exit where they were stopped and escorted back inside the store by the loss prevention officer Neither them had identification and police were called. They were both taken into custody and charged. They were later both positively identified with ID cards from a local college.

McDonald’s Menacing: New Rochelle police responded to the McDonald’s at about 1 a.m. on September 18 to 720 North Avenue on a report of menacing with a handgun. 

The complainant, a McDonald’s employee, stated that a former co-worker menaced him with a handgun when he refused to refund a soft drink purchase. The complainant said the person threw his drink on the floor and walked outside and then walked back into the incident location and said “Are you sure you want to do this?” then lifted his shirt to suggest that he had a gun putting the complaint in fear for his life.

During a show-up investigation the complaint positively identified the man who menaced him. Police recovered a black BB gun from the trunk of the suspect’s vehicle along with $616 in cash, tobacco leaves, one bag of marijuana, rolling papers, and to New York State license plates. 

The person was placed under arrest for Menacing-Third, a Class A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation. The vehicle was impounded. The suspect is to be charged as a youthful offender. No name was released.

Motorcycle Stolen on North Avenue: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a motorcycle larceny at about 2 a.m. on September 17 on North Avenue in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that he had parked motorcycle, a white 2013 Honda CBR, at about 2 a.m. on September 17 and that when he returned at approximately 6 p.m. the motorcycle was gone.

Purse Swiped at Grocery Store Checkout: New Rochelle police responded to a report of a larceny at about 5 p.m. on September 17 at the Stop & Shop on Palmer Avenue in New Rochelle, NY.

Complainant stated that her purse was taken from the Stop & Shop on September 13 at approximately 8:00 p.m.  The purse contained $183 in cash and miscellaneous personal cards including a New York State drivers license. She stated she placed the purse down while she was paying at the cashier and accidentally left the store without it. She did not call police until today because she received a phone call from the store manager who advised her that they had video surveillance of the incident.
