NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- The New Rochelle Fire Department responded to a 6:50 a.m. call from 36 Franklin Avenue for an unresponsive 40-year old female. The woman was determined to have died. New Rochelle police and the Westchester County Medical Examiner were called to the scene. The call came from a third floor unit within the building.

UPDATE 8:00 AM: WNBC-TV Channel 4 truck is on scene.

UPDATE 8:38 AM: Westchester County Medical Examiner on scene.

UPDATE 9:03 AM: Channel 12 News and a third news truck are on scene. Something is up.
